He is also admitted to practice as an attorney by New York State and a member of the New York Bar. He earned a Master of Arts degree from the University of Cambridge and a Master's degree in American and International Law from the University of Notre Dame (USA). He is also a fully qualified UK solicitor. He has prepared material concerning US immigration for the United Kingdom Department of Trade and Industry.
